Welcome: This website is a conduit for information about me and the courses I teach. A few of the links to the left will also lead you to a few things I have written and to important campus resources. Background: Raised in Modesto, CA, attending Stanislaus Union Elementary, Prescott Junior High School, Modesto High School, and Modesto Junior College (A.A. in General Education). Further educated at UC Berkeley (B.A. in English) and CSU Stanislaus (M.A. in English--Rhetoric and Teaching Writing). Also worked in factories (Hunt's, United Can, Ball Western Can Company, and Ball Containers) for ten years as a junior engineer, machine operator, and a material handler.
